Mindful Reminder: Remind yourself that any discomfort is brief and will yield excellent results.

Pain Management Tools: Use breathing techniques or our provided stress ball during the sugaring process.

Tampon Usage: If using a tampon, tuck the string inside the vagina for the appointment.

Future Appointments: Before leaving, schedule your next appointment, typically 3-6 weeks apart depending on the type of service.

THE FIRST 48 HOURS AFTER SUGARING

Normal Reactions: On freshly sugared skin you can expect redness, tiny spots of blood, and swelling, which should subside within a few hours.

Cold Compress: Apply a clean, cold compress to soothe your skin if needed.

Skin Protection: Sugared skin should avoid heat, friction, and contact with dirty hands or clothing.

Activity Restrictions: Steer clear of sex, heavy exercise, saunas, steam rooms, hot showers, and hot tubs.

Product Selection: Avoid using skincare products, including deodorant, unless advised by your sugarist.

Sun Protection: Shield your sugared skin from the sun and tanning beds.

Postpone Exfoliation: Refrain from exfoliating your skin until it returns to feeling normal.

UNTIL YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT

Reach Out for Guidance: Contact your sugarist for any advice or concerns.

Hydration Continues: Stay hydrated for overall skin health.

Daily Moisturizing: Apply a natural, fragrance-free moisturizer daily.

Regular Exfoliation: Exfoliate 2-3 times a week for smooth, ingrown-free skin.

Clothing Considerations: Avoid clothing that causes friction on sugared areas.

Say No to Shaving: Resist the urge to shave between appointments, as it delays the benefits of sugaring.

Ingrown Hair Care: Refrain from picking at ingrown hairs; opt for exfoliation or use ingrown serum instead.
